Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Split Duel iOS app itself. In this policy, “developer” means Huang Yuxun, the developer of Split Duel.

This policy does not apply to the App Store, iOS system services, the official website, email services, or other services independently provided by Apple or third parties. Those services process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

2. Data the developer does not collect

For this policy, “collect” means transmitting data off your device so that it can be accessed by the developer or a third party acting for the developer. Split Duel does not require an account and does not transmit your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, device identifiers, gameplay records, usage data, or other personal data to the developer or third parties.

The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, third-party tracking, online multiplayer, chat, user-generated content, in-app purchases, or developer-operated backend service. The developer does not sell, rent, or share personal data obtained through the app because the app does not collect such data for the developer.

3. On-device processing

Split Duel stores your selected language, sound and haptic preferences, completed-match count, and app version locally on your device. The match count and version are used only to control how often the system rating prompt may be requested. Temporary match state and scores also remain on the device and are used only to run the game.

This local data is not synchronized to a developer server and is not used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or cross-app tracking. The app uses iOS audio and haptic features for countdowns, actions, and match feedback, and that processing also occurs locally on the device.

The app does not request access to your microphone, camera, photos, contacts, precise location, or other protected personal content.

4. System rating prompt

After you complete a certain number of matches, Split Duel may request Apple's system rating interface. Apple and iOS control whether the prompt appears and how the subsequent rating process works.

The app records only on your device whether a rating has already been requested for the current version. It cannot read your rating and does not send rating actions or results to the developer.

5. App Store and iOS

When you download, update, or review Split Duel through the App Store, Apple may process information related to your Apple Account, device, and transaction under its own terms and privacy policy. Apple is independently responsible for that processing.

Split Duel cannot access your Apple Account information, App Store purchase history, or rating data independently managed by Apple.

6. Children's privacy

Split Duel applies the same data practices to users of every age. The app requires no account, has no chat or network feature, and does not knowingly collect children's personal information for the developer.

A parent or guardian should still manage a child's device and App Store use as appropriate under local law and family device settings.

7. Retention, control, and deletion

Language, sound, haptic, completed-match count, and rating-prompt version settings remain on your device until you change the relevant settings, reset app data, or delete the app. Temporary match state is replaced or cleared when a match ends or restarts, or when the app process ends.

Because the developer does not hold your personal data or account information, there is no developer-held data to access, export, correct, or remotely delete. Deleting the app removes app-local data managed by iOS. Whether a device backup retains a copy depends on your iOS, iCloud, or other Apple service settings.

You can manage backups through device settings and delete app data from the device by deleting the app.

8. Changes to this policy

If Split Duel's features or data practices change, the developer will update this policy before the new practice begins and will show a new effective date on this page. Material changes will also be explained through App Store release notes, an in-app notice, or the official website when reasonably practical.

Where applicable law requires permission or consent, the developer will provide the required information and request the relevant authorization before enabling the feature.
