By downloading, installing, accessing, or continuing to use Split Duel, you confirm that you have read and agree to this agreement and the applicable Privacy Policy.

1. Parties and scope

This agreement is between each user of Split Duel and Huang Yuxun, the developer of the version you use. It applies to the Split Duel iOS app, official website, support pages, and subsequent updates.

If you do not agree to any part of this agreement, do not download, install, or use the app and stop accessing the related services.

2. The service

Split Duel is an offline, same-device two-player party game featuring Tap Tug, Red Light Green Light, Timing Stop, Bomb Pass, and related game modes. Two players compete face to face on opposite sides of one iPhone or iPad.

Features, interfaces, compatible devices, and rules may change between versions. The version currently installed on your device controls.

3. License

Subject to your compliance with this agreement, the developer grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive license to install and use Split Duel on Apple devices you legally own or control.

  • Do not sell, rent, sublicense, or commercially distribute the app.
  • Do not bypass, damage, or interfere with normal operation or security measures.
  • Do not decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the app where prohibited by applicable law.
  • Do not use the app for unlawful activity or to violate another person's rights.

4. Face-to-face play and device safety

Split Duel asks two players to tap quickly on one device. Place the device on a stable, flat surface. Do not grab, pull, strike, or otherwise handle it in a way that may damage the device or injure a person.

Children should use the app with appropriate supervision. Players should manage volume, haptic feedback, screen brightness, and play time according to their health and surroundings.

5. Entertainment and match results

The app is provided for casual entertainment. Timing, touch response, animation, and results may be affected by device model, system load, accessibility settings, or other local conditions.

Split Duel does not provide cash prizes, gambling, wagering, or virtual items redeemable for real-world value. Do not use the app for gambling, dangerous challenges, or decisions involving medical, legal, financial, safety, or other high-impact matters.

6. Local data and availability

App settings and temporary match state are primarily stored on your device. Deleting the app, clearing data, device damage, or system failure may remove local information.

The developer will make reasonable efforts to maintain the app but does not promise that it will be error-free, continuously available, compatible with every device or system version, or suitable for every specific need.

7. Privacy

Split Duel requires no account and contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking. Read the Privacy Policy published on this website for details about how the app and website handle information. The Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement.

8. Intellectual property

The Split Duel name, icon, software code, interface, artwork, animation, copy, audio, and other content are owned by the developer or relevant rights holders. This agreement grants only a limited license to use the app and does not transfer intellectual property rights.

Apple, App Store, iPhone, and iPad names and marks belong to their respective owners.

9. Third-party platforms

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and may use system features provided by iOS. Apple and other third-party platforms provide their services independently under their own terms and privacy rules.

The developer may reasonably adapt the app when platform outages, policy changes, regional restrictions, or compatibility changes affect a feature, but cannot guarantee that third-party services will always remain available.

10. Updates, changes, and termination

The developer may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue some or all features to improve the experience, fix issues, support new systems, or meet legal requirements. Updates may change the interface, rules, compatibility, or local data structure.

You may stop using and delete the app at any time. Provisions that should survive by their nature, including intellectual property, limitations of liability, and dispute terms, remain effective after use ends.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Split Duel is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Loss caused by misuse, device or system failure, failure to protect a device, third-party service issues, or circumstances outside the developer's reasonable control is allocated under applicable law.

Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or reduces mandatory consumer rights available to you.

12. Changes and dispute resolution

The developer may update this agreement when the service, operating model, or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without reducing mandatory consumer rights under the law where you live. The parties should first try to resolve a dispute through good-faith discussion. If that fails, either party may bring the dispute before a court with lawful jurisdiction.
